Coming from years of Garmin running daily and half marathons I switched to Apple Watch Ultra. Besides it having way more features, I still hate the heart rate monitor. It just refuses to update the heart rate even for a minute or more. I pair it now with a Polar heart rate monitor. It’s kind of ridiculous Apple cannot do constant heart rate monitoring.
