Great review Marques, I am still using my 2013 13 inch MBP with 8 GB of ram and an Intel i5 CPU, it still seems fast enough for me as I only surf the web watching movies on FreeVee, Tubi, Crackle, Pluto TV, Xumo, and I just signed up with Netflix today after 10 years of not using it. I am thinking there may be good deals on a Apple M1 - M3 MBP laptop on black Friday if Apple releases a new laptop with a M4 CPU.

You do not upgrade your computer if it still delivers. You upgrade it when it becomes burdensome to work on new software versions and the battery starts to fail you more often (or there's need for additional features, like a new display with a proper frame rate or new connectivity for some futuristic AI instrument).
