Just bought the Moto G86 Power for my brother earlier this week when it was on sale for AU$284 (US$204). Great phone, bigger battery than my Oppo Find X5 Pro, screen resolution and brightness not as good of course but perfectly adequate for my brother, he's not into spending mega-bucks on phones 🤩

well after software updates end, you can just find os that you would like to throw on older flagship and just rock with that for another 5 years easily. And they get software updates, while they are supported by community

I've only ever used the $200 or below value. Yes as we go they are making technology crappier unless you over pay for it. But usually I get minimum 3-4 good years out of each phone. (Age 27). I have used an iPhone then an old iPhone when the new one failed me. Went back to Motorola quick.

rn in india at this price you can get a 8gb ram, amoled screen ,snapdragon mid chipset, in built fingerprint scanner and a decent camera also curved display and a lot more features from well reupdated brands.

I think the only reason why people sometimes avoid software updates is that the updates, instead of improving the phone, degrades it even further. Xiaomi phones (the Redmi Note series, at least), have the issue of buggy updates. Samsung phones have the green line issue every update. It doesn't matter whether it is a budget phone or not, some manufacturers just release buggy updates

Use 3 button navigation. On phones like the Moto G Pure and the Moto G Play 2023, the gesture navigation does make it feel slower, but its not the end of the world ig, I used to main a Moto G Pure.
Delete the bloatware, You dont really need TracFone bloatware like 1Weather, just use the stock Google weather, that really helps
