I think this virtual background solution is less versatile than what LTT uses. Because with the LTT one, you can change the Background in post. Yes i know, you can project a green screen here too, but you wont because it will lead to green back bleeding again.

You could use a laser zero throw rear projector to do the same thing. DaLite makes huge screens and you could put one in your studio and use anything you want for a background. This is a simplified answer that utilizes technology I used all the time for live production.

Movies that have used that screen have looked somewhat fake or there is some sort of visual element where you can sorta tell they are in front a screen. It’s cheaper and worse than green screen imo. This is probably all they used for that Antman movie and I know they used it for some of the horrible shots in the latest black panthers film
