I only like the Magic Mouse because it makes editing so much easier when you get that smooth scroll sideways to scrub through a timeline in Final Cut Pro.
When I need to charge it, and have to switch to a regular mouse, the ergonomics are better, but it is so cumbersome and irritating that I usually just stop working until the Magic Mouse is ready.
If not for that I would have ditched it ages ago.

In 2025 Google didn't switch to Snapdragon, but a really smart prediction non the less with Google choosing to leave Samsung for TSMC that manufactures the Snapdragon SOC.
It's really genius that Google does this with Tensor for AI on the race to the bottom.
You have a choice of 2 cars both have quick speeds off the start but do you want one that will maintain high it for a long period of time but will lose performance the longer you drive it.
Or do you want one to drive you in smooth comfort that will give the best performance and will give you more distance to drive?

As a former delivery driver apple maps is far better in my opinion. The primary reason for this is it shows the outlines of houses and pinpoints the specific house making it way easier to find where to go. Both Google maps and Waze pinpoint the street or in the middle of a blank area

For navigation, Apple Maps hands down all the way. It’s so much nicer to follow when I’m driving. G Maps is cluttered and ugly. For business information and public transport usage? G Maps wins. I just use both for different task. Don’t need a ‘winner’ IMO, that’s too black and white in a world of grey.
