And yes the sensor dust is killing me too, but I wasn't about to try to clean the inside of the camera in the middle of a hands-on event 😅

Yeah I’m lucky enough to not really care about fingerprints. Also I love midnight. I got my iPhone and Apple Watch in midnight and I ordered a midnight MacBook Air M2 13 inch. So excited!

I got midnight a couple days ago and I’m OBSESSED. I did, however, already have a clear 15$ case i bought on Amazon already handy for me to put it on the air straight out of the box, so if you’re able to do that, the fingerprints are no problem. I also preordered a mouse and wrist sticker (that i also got in the midnight color so you can’t tell) and put that on to keep the mouse, wrist, and top area from getting dust and fingerprints. They are removable and say that leave no residue so i gave that a shot and so far so good. I’m able to completely touch my laptop without having to worry about scratches or prints 😊

Midnight is not hard to clean. I just bought mine. I use a disinfecting wipe. Just play around with what you use to clean it with.

It would be a mistake for this computer to be delegated to just watching YouTube and browsing the web. A 16 gig M2 Air is a very capable development platform, as well as graphical or music studio - if one doesn't mind the 1 monitor output.

Here's a summary of actionable advice & gathered insights
Design:
1. The MacBook Air has a new design with squared off edges and is only 11.3 mm thick, making it easy to hold and lightweight at 1.224 kilograms.
2. The laptop has two Thunderbolt ports on the left side and a headphone jack with high impedance support on the right. It also comes with a color-matched MagSafe cable.
Display:
1. The MacBook Air has a 13.6 inch display that is slightly larger than the previous model, with thinner bezels to make room for the screen.
2. The display is also brighter at 500 nits, which is similar to the 13-inch MacBook Pro.
3. The display has a notch at the top for the 1080p webcam.
Colors:
1. The MacBook Air comes in four colors: silver, space grey, starlight, and midnight.
2. The midnight color is similar to the matte black color of the Apple Watch Series 7 and is prone to picking up fingerprints.
Other features:
1. The MacBook Air has a quad speaker setup located under the hinge and a triple mic array with beamforming audio.
